Greetings from Bloomington!
We are in a transitional year for the Department of Sociology. For the last three years, Patricia McManus has done an excellent job as department chair. It was a trying time that included the COVID pandemic, the protests following the George Floyd protests, and a change in university leadership. Throughout this challenging time, our ship kept afloat under Patricia’s careful watch. We thank her for the dedication and hard work that it takes to manage an academic department.
