Pamela Braboy Jackson has been selected for the 2024 ASA Medical Sociology Reeder Award. This award recognizes scholarly contributions, especially a body of work displaying an extended trajectory of productivity that has contributed to theory and research in medical sociology. The Reeder Award also acknowledges teaching, mentoring, and training as well as service to the medical sociology community broadly defined. Pam will be honored at the ASA meeting in August of 2024, providing the Reeder Address that will be subsequently published in The Journal of Health and Social Behavior.
