Greetings from Bloomington!
Spring is the time when we celebrate our students and their achievements. We have had the pleasure of teaching them for the last four years and it is very rewarding to see them grow. We know it’s been a tough time. Our graduating seniors started at IU during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. It was a very difficult time for everyone, especially for students whose schools were closed. We are grateful that students persisted and were able to complete their degrees. Some will go to the private sector, while others will begin graduate study in sociology or a professional degree, like medicine or the law. We are proud of all of them.
