Peter Lista is a Ph.D. candidate in Sociology at Indiana University. He received his M.A. in Sociology from Indiana University in 2014 and B.A. in Sociology from SUNY Brockport in 2012. His research interests include formal organizations, institutional theory, and archival and textual analysis. Peter's dissertation examines organizational emergence and institutionalization in the founding of the U.S. Federal Reserve System. His other projects examine various organizational and economic processes, including artists’ careers in the 'art world', the role of capital in mentoring, and monetary policy-making during the Financial Crisis.
