  • Brian Powell receives Willard Waller Lifetime Achievement Award

Brian Powell receives Willard Waller Lifetime Achievement Award

Wednesday, May 25, 2022

Brian Powell

Brian Powell is the recipient of the Willard Waller Lifetime Achievement Award from the American Sociological Association section on Sociology of Education. This biannual award honors a scholar a career marked by noteworthy achievements in the subfield.  Most recently, of course, Brian co-authored with IU alum Natasha Quadlin on Who Should Pay: Higher Education, Responsibility, and the Public (2022, RSF).  Brian’s career is not over, and we are confident there are many more achievements to come!
