We are delighted to share the news that Sociology grad J’Mauri Jackson is the recipient of an award from the National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship Program. The NSF GRFP is a highly competitive national award program that “recognizes and supports outstanding graduate students in NSF-supported STEM disciplines who are pursuing research-based master’s and doctoral degrees at accredited US institutions.” The five-year GRFP fellowship includes three years of financial support, providing each recipient the opportunity to devote themselves to study and research. The talented and promising scholars across the country who receive the NSF-GRFP span the range of STEM disciplines. On the IU Bloomington campus, J’Mauri is joined by an engineer, an evolutionary biologist, a cognitive neuroscientist, and a student of public policy as the five newest recipients of the award.
Congratulations, J’Mauri!
