Sheldon Stryker’s children generously established a graduate scholarship in his honor. We awarded the first of these scholarships in spring 2018, providing much needed research funding to 4 graduate students: Muna Adem, Denise Ambriz, Callie Cleckner, and Vitor Dias. As the scholarship fund grows, we will offer semester- and yearlong fellowships to Sociology graduate students—extending Shel’s many contributions to the department and discipline far into the future.
