Brandy has joined Indiana University as a first-generation PhD student in the Sociology department after earning her B.A from Skidmore College in 2021. Her undergraduate thesis focused on the role that experience with racial discrimination has on one’s trust in their health professional’s judgement. Currently, Brandy’s research interest includes race, gender, medical sociology, and intergroup relations.
