I'm from Bangalore, India. Prior to IU, I received my B.S in Physics with a minor in Development Studies at Azim Premji University, followed by a M.A in Sociology at the Delhi School of Economics, University of Delhi. I'm broadly interested in critically examining development in all its dimensions in the Third World, through a comparative, multidisciplinary approach. My research has appeared in the Journal of World-Systems Research and the Journal of Labor and Society.
In my spare time, I enjoy playing video games and listening to music on late-night walks.
