Department of Sociology

Beginning in fall 2025, Bianca will be a first-year sociology graduate student at IU. Bianca received her B.A. at Amherst College, where she majored in both Law, Jurisprudence, & Social Thought and English and conducted research on legal and political rhetoric, rape law, and Title IX. Her ongoing research examines the evolution of consent as a legal and social paradigm, including the rise of gender-neutral affirmative consent policies. Outside of academia, Bianca is a creative writer and musician.
