Shelley is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Sociology at Indiana University, in Bloomington. Her broad research interests include Asian American Studies, immigration, social networks, organizations, and policy. Prior to graduate school, she held professional roles in talent management and diversity, market research, and public policy. She earned her B.S. in Industrial and Labor Relations and M.P.A. from Cornell University. She is originally from New York City—the greatest city on Earth.
