I am Yanming Kuang, a graduate student in sociology at Indiana University. I study race, ethnicity, and immigration. I am particularly interested in the political incorporation of immigrants into U.S. society. I wrote my undergraduate thesis at Columbia University about the political participation of Chinese Americans in the 2017 New York City Mayoral Election.
