Haoxuan Gao is a Ph.D student in the Department of Sociology at Indiana University. She completed her Bachelor of Arts in 2024 from Macalester College in Minnesota, with double major in sociology and English. She is originally from Shenzhen, China and has been living in the U.S. since 2015.
