Madeline is a PhD student in the Sociology department at IU. She earned her BA in Sociology at Xavier University and her MA in Sociology at the University of Cincinnati. Her MA thesis was titled “What Should Be and What Is: Gender Attitudes among Generation Z Youth in the United States.” Broadly, her research interests include gender, youth, and social inequality. Her work focuses on how young people assess gender roles and gender inequality in their everyday lives and in wider society.
