I received my B.A. in Sociology and Political Science and M.A. in Sociology from Yonsei University in Seoul, South Korea. Broadly, I am interested in how the construction of gender on multiple (micro, meso, and macro) dimensions relate to social inequality. My previous research has examined how individuals’ perceptions of gendered norms, often intersecting with class, guide their marriage and childbearing plans or decisions.
