Soocheol is a PhD student in the Department of Sociology at Indiana University, concurrently pursuing an M.S. in Applied Statistics. His research agenda is driven by the overarching goal of attaining a comprehensive understanding of how cultural beliefs about gender, along with their persistence and changes, contribute to the (re)production of inequalities. In recent projects, he examines the ways in which gender, work, families, and public policies intersect to shape these disparities. In his work, he typically employs quantitative and experimental methods.
