Heidi Berger is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Sociology at Indiana University. Originally from Shelburne, Vermont, she holds a B.A. in Sociology & Anthropology with minors in Educational Studies and Spanish from Swarthmore College. Heidi's research interests broadly include gender inequality with a focus on women's experiences in male dominated fields and the ways in which barriers to equity are both successfully overcome and reinforced.
