Michael Gannon is currently a Ph.D. student in the Department of Sociology. He earned his M.A. in Sociology from the University of Nevada, Reno, and his B.A. in Sociology from UCLA, with a minor in Anthropology. His M.A. thesis explored how interracial partnerships can affect individual racial centrality. Michael is also very interested in teaching and mentorship and has won several awards for his teaching contributions.
