Katie Beardall’s research interests are at the intersections of education, stratification, organizations, and culture. She uses mixed methods approaches to examine how post-secondary educational institutions work to sort and filter students, and what kinds of experiences students have while in college.
She received a B.A. in political science and a B.A. in sociology from the University of North Florida in 2014. In addition to being a graduate student, she volunteers at PALS and enjoys kickboxing.
